Softwares, in its general sense, is a set of instructions or programs that direct a computer to perform a specific task. That’s is a general term used to describe computer programs that run on PCs, mobile phones, tablets, or other smart devices. Software is often used to describe all aspects of a computer that does not refer to its physical components (hardware). A set of scripts, applications, programs, and instructions are all terms that are often used to describe softwares.
Everything that runs on a computer, from an operating system to a diagnostic tool, a video game, or an app, can be interpreted as software.

Bad softwares (malware)
Malicious software is designed to harm computers and/or disrupt other software intentionally. These vulnerabilities are usually caused by software that secretly works for users who unknowingly install malware.

The software can be purchased online or in stores, or for free. The trial version or shareware allows users to use the software for a limited time or for a certain period of time for free, after which they can choose to purchase it.
